The following Terms and Conditions between you and The Sette Ltd, a London company describes the terms and conditions on which you may access and use The Sette website (www.thesette.com) and services provided by the company. By accessing our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions.

PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. THE TERMS MAY HAVE CHANGED SINCE YOU LAST ACCESSED OR USED OUR SERVICES.
In order to access some of the services or features made available on the site, it will be necessary to register for an account. This can be done directly on our website at www.thesette.com.
Once you register you are required to provide accurate, and complete personal information.

By registering you are agreeing to terms and conditions listed below.
Benefits of personal registration include but are not limited to the following:
- Build a Wish List with all your favorite items
- Track orders
- Review past purchases
- Save address and payment information
- Manage account details such as address and email
The services include but are not limited to the sale of tableware and kitchenware. This agreement sets out the terms and conditions that apply to the purchase of any product.
You will be able to make purchases on the site once you have provided your personal details. This includes name, phone number, email address, and other information necessary to carry out the order. Furthermore, you will be required to provide a valid method of payment that correlates and corresponds with the person referred to in the billing information provided.
The Sette will only be able to sell to those who meet the terms of eligibility
The delivery will be through a designated shipping partner and may change at the discretion of The Sette.
The amount owed will be taken by method of bank card once the order is placed. If you do not pay the amount owed to The Sette when due, The Sette may institute collection procedures.
You consent to receive communications from The Sette that may include email, text messages, and phone calls. These communications are for the purpose of notifying you of the status of your order. Communications may include notifications, reminders or other information. You may opt out of receiving any further communication by unsubscribing or contacting our Customer Support team. Once you opt out, you agree that this may impact the use of services.
RETURNS – NON FAULTY PRODUCTS
If you have received a product and it is not faulty or mis-described then you may return the order and obtain a refund for that product provided you notify us in the manner set out and within the period set out in the section.
For returns or exchanges of your order please follow these steps:
- Email firstname.lastname@example.org and quote ‘Return’ or ‘Exchange’ as well as your unique order number and reason for return within 14 days of receipt. All sales will be final after 14 days of purchase.
- Goods must be received back to us within 7 days of the authorisation being granted.
- Goods should be returned unused and packaged as per the original order with all the original inner and outer packaging.
- It is your responsibility to cover postage costs for returns and exchanges. Please make sure to use an insured shipping method as we are unable to refund or exchange items that are damaged or lost in the post.
Please note we do not refund shipping costs, taxes or duties incurred.
If items meet our return terms, the sum debited from your credit or debit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as the goods are received and processed, excluding the initial shipping cost.
Please note it can take up to 30 days for the money to appear in your account.
RETURNS – FAULTS AND MIS-DESCRIBED PRODUCTS
Please note that we will not accept returns and provide refunds if a fault arises from fair wear and tear, wilful or accidental damage, negligence by you or a third party, abnormal or inappropriate storage or working conditions or maintenance, failure to operate or use the products in accordance with the user instructions, misuse or alteration or repair of the products by you or a third party that is not authorised by us or the manufacturer.
You should provide us with proof of purchase when seeking to return a faulty or mis described time. You will need to arrange for the return of the item(s) to us. We will inspect all items that we receive from you. We will offer to arrange to replace the product with a new one or reimburse you for the full costs of the item (but not the value of any promotional code(s) used) to your original payment method within 30 days of our receipt of the faulty or mis-described item.
You have certain rights as a consumer, including legal rights relating to the repair and replacement of faulty goods. Nothing in these Terms will reduce these legal rights. For further information about your legal rights, please contact your local authority Trading Standards Department or Citizens Advice Bureau.
Gift cards expire one year after the date of purchase. Gift cards are final sale and cannot be refunded after purchase. Gift cards cannot be purchased using any offer or discount code.
If the amount of your Online Gift Card(s) does NOT cover the total order amount, you will need to pay the remainder of the purchase with a valid debit or credit card.
If the amount of your Online Gift Card(s) is MORE than the total order amount, the balance will be stored for your next purchase using the same Gift Card code.
Online Gift Cards are non-transferable, non-refundable and are not redeemable for cash.
VAT will not be charged on Online Gift Card(s): this is charged when the gift card is used.
Gift cards are not the same as credit notes or discount codes and are treated differently in our terms and on our site.
Gift cards may be used to purchase items on promotion, but we cannot accept credit notes for any promotion items.
Please note that our gift cards are only available in pounds (GBP). If a gift card is redeemed in any other currency, the value of the gift card may be impacted by currency fluctuations which are determined via the exchange rate at the time of purchase.
Only one discount code, offer, credit note or promotion can be used per order.
Discount codes, offers, credit notes or promotions cannot be combined or applied to previously placed orders.
Discount codes can be used once per customer unless otherwise stated.
Discount codes may be subject to a time and date restriction, they cannot be used once the expiry date has passed.
If an order was redeemed using a discount code or the item purchased was a reduced price (also known as: markdown), the returns window is 14 calendar days.
CANCELLING AN ORDER
You have a legal right to cancel a Contract (under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Payments) Regulations 2013) within 28 days of receipt by you of the Product (“Relevant Period”). Accordingly, during the relevant period if you change your mind or for any other reason you decide you do not want to keep a Product, you can notify us, by email (email@example.com), of your decision to cancel the Contract and, provided you return the Product to us within 14 calendar days, receive a refund.
Advice about your legal right to cancel the Contract under these regulations is available from your local Citizens Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office. However, this cancellation right does not apply in the case of any Products made to your specification or clearly personalised. If you cancel a Contract you must return the Products to us at The Sette, Benwick Road Industrial Estate, Benwick Road, Whittlesey, Peterborough, PE7 2HD within 14 calendar days after the day you cancel and you will be responsible for the costs of returning the Products.
Once we have received the products and provided they are still in the original condition with all tags still attached, we will refund the total price you have paid for the products on the card you paid, within 14 calendar days of our decision to refund you. Please allow for this. However, if you choose enhanced delivery, we will only refund up to the amount of our usual standard delivery costs.
WE MAY UPDATE THE SETTE CONTENT THAT INCLUDES PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS AS WE DEEM APPROPRIATE. WE MAY DO THIS WITHOUT NOTICE TO YOU.
