Suiting up with Daisy Knatchbull
We chat everything from dinner at Brixton Prison to turmeric lattes with the founder of women’s tailoring house, The Deck
There’s little chance you haven’t heard of Daisy Knatchbull: the founder of women’s tailoring house The Deck has been making some serious waves in the industry. Breaking records is par for the course for this powerhouse; in 2016, Daisy became the first woman in history to wear tailored morning dress to Royal Ascot and, after founding The Deck in 2019, opening the first women’s-only shopfront on Savile Row. Now, The Deck handles bespoke tailoring for the likes of Gillian Anderson, Elizabeth Hurley and Charlotte Tilbury among others, and the brand’s premium quality suits have well-earned their reputation as a staple in every modern woman’s wardrobe. Here, Daisy lets us in on her proudest achievements, her goals for the next decade – and her enduring love of tequila…
My milk frother – since I gave up coffee, I’ve become obsessed with turmeric lattes, and the frother makes them so much better.
Dash Water, which is infused with fruit.
I once had dinner in Brixton Prison, at a brilliant restaurant called The Clink. That was memorable for sure!
Can I say tequila…?

Mo Gawdat, the entrepreneur and writer – I find him so fascinating, inspiring and brilliant. He’s the former chief business officer for Google X and now conducts research into the science of happiness. If you don’t know much about him, you should definitely check him out!
Delicious cocktails somewhere fun, followed by dinner with a good group of friends.
Do you make suits for men? (The answer is no, we don’t!)
Dark chocolate.
A good bottle of red wine.
I love the wave pitcher, and would use it to serve some pre-dinner cocktails to get the party started. As for the table, I’d use this red stripe tablecloth, paired with the vegetable dinner plates for a fun, relaxed vibe – not forgetting some gorgeous green candles to create some mood lighting.
